According to Franklin Graham, John MacArthur and Grace Community Church received a letter from the LA county officials threatening fines and possible arrest if they continue to assembly for in-person worship.
This came shortly after MacArthur posted a short video update on Friday where he restated that Grace Community Church would not close their doors because the California government has mandated them to do so. Governor Newsom has ordered businesses, gyms, and churches to (re)close, due to the spread of the coronavirus.
MacArthur has said that they have received support legal experts in Washington D.C., who want to help them defend their decision to remain open, if needed.
