☠ Abortion was the leading cause of death in 2019 ☠

December 31, 2019 by Staff

The leading cause of death in the world in 2019 was abortion. Over 42 million humans were killed.

Worldometers definition of abortion is as follows: “An abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus from the uterus, resulting in or caused by its death. An abortion can occur spontaneously due to complications during pregnancy or can be induced. (definition from Wikipedia) Abortion as a term most commonly – and in the statistics presented here – refers to the induced abortion of a human pregnancy, while spontaneous abortions are usually termed miscarriages.”

According to Worldometers, a reputable independent company ran by an international team of developers, researchers, and volunteers that provides world statics in a real-time format, that number could reach over 42 ½ million by year’s end.

The next leading cause of deaths was communicable diseases at over 12.9 million, cancer at over 8.2 million, and smoking at over 4.9 million.

The numbers are up almost a million this year from 2018’s 41.9 million abortions.

Worldometers has no political, corporate, or government affiliation, and calculates it’s abortion numbers based on the statistics released by the World Health Organization.
