The ‘Lularich’ Filmmakers Are Working on a Duggars Docuseries

(Relevant) Amazon Studios has greenlit an investigation into the Institute in Basic Life Principles, the fundamentalist organization associated with the Duggar family.

The famous reality TV family have recently become the subject of scrutiny since the eldest son, Josh Duggar, was exposed in 2015 of molesting his sisters and other kids, and earlier this year was convicted of possessing child pornography.

After Josh’s crimes were revealed in 2015, TLC canceled 19 Kids and Counting to replace it with the spinoff Counting On, which ran until Josh’s arrest in April of this year. TLC announced in June it would n continue the show in order to “give the Duggar family the opportunity to address their situation privately.”
