(Christian Headlines) Phoenix coach Monty Williams told reporters over the weekend he has stayed calm during the NBA playoffs by reading, playing with his dogs and discussing the Bible with his family.
Williams, who guided the Suns to their first NBA Finals appearance since 1993, has been outspoken about his Christian faith during media interviews. Phoenix trails Milwaukee 3-2 entering Tuesday’s Game 6 in the best-of-seven series.
He made the remarks during a press conference when a reporter asked what he has done “personally” to stay calm in such a tense environment.
Williams says he spends time at his house with his family when he’s not coaching.
