Sports World Offers Prayers for Tiger Woods Following Roll-Over Car Accident

(Sports Spectrum) Legendary golfer Tiger Woods was in a single-car roll-over accident Tuesday morning in the Rancho Palos Verdes area near Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The vehicle he was traveling in suffered major damage, and Woods was pulled out after officers used a pry bar and ax to remove the car’s windshield.

Woods was the driver and only occupant of the vehicle, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital. Woods’ agent, Mark Steinberg, released a statement saying Woods was in surgery for multiple leg injuries. The injuries are not considered life-threatening.
