No Sports. No Worries. NBA Stars React to ESPN’s Premiere of Michael Jordan’s ‘The Last Dance’

April 20, 2020 by Staff

(ESPN) ESPN’s documentary “The Last Dance” debuted to the masses on the weekend that was originally scheduled to be the start of the 2020 NBA postseason. The untold story of Michael Jordan‘s final season with the Chicago Bulls has been one of the most highly anticipated viewing events of the past several years. It arrived at a time when, due to the coronavirus pandemic, many around the world are encouraged to stay home.

The first episode touched on topics such as then-general manager Jerry Krause’s polarizing positions and Michael Jordan’s rise from the University of North Carolina to his rookie season in Chicago. The second episode covered Scottie Pippen‘s arrival to the Bulls and his controversial 1997 preseason, as well as Jordan’s childhood and second NBA season.
