Ark Encounter Goes Green for Kentucky Coronavirus Victims

April 9, 2020 by Staff

(Kentucky Today) The Ark Encounter has gone green in supporting Kentuckians to honor coronavirus victims.

Public buildings, businesses, landmarks and homes have been lit green since Gov. Andy Beshear asked for that gesture early on during the coronavirus crisis. He started by lighting up the Governor’s Mansion and the State Capitol building.

“Green is the color of compassion, it’s the color of empathy…it lets people know that we are thinking about them, that we care about them, that we love every single Kentuckian around us,” the governor said.
