A Popular Tennessee Pastor Is ‘Teaming Up’ With Roger Stone for a Sunday Service

August 11, 2020 by Staff

(Relevant)Tennessee Pastor Greg Locke has developed a sizable social media following for his outspoken tone that mixes evangelical teaching with politically conservative talking points and lots of pro-Trump messages. On Twitter, his voice frequently veers into conspiracy-mongering, saying bodycam footage of George Floyd’s death proves that “[George] Soros owned BLM and had an agenda from the start,” spread QAnon’s debunked #pizzagate theory as recently as July and regularly mocks facemasks and the people who wear them to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Now, he’s getting into a new lane. On Monday, Locke announced that conservative political consultant, lobbyist and freshly liberated felon Roger Stone will be sharing his testimony at Locke’s church in Mt. Juliet, Tenessee. Stone has talked about becoming a Christian while in jail, a testimony Locke called a “Saul to Paul coversion [sic] story.”
