(Christian Headlines) On Sunday, Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, whom Trump appointed, celebrated the third anniversary of Trump declaring Jerusalem Israel’s capital.
“President Trump, Donald, exactly three years ago, you became the first world leader to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,” Netanyahu said.
As part of the ceremony, Netanyahu announced President Trump’s declaration would be placed next to President Truman’s declaration recognizing Israel as an independent country.
