The minister, whose Jim Bakker Show is filmed in Missouri, is being sued by that state’s Attorney General for selling a “Silver Sol” supplement he implied could protect against and possibly cure the coronavirus currently plaguing the world. According to Bakker’s lawyers, who have filed a motion for the case to be dismissed, the lawsuit represents a violation of religious freedom.
