Major Attacks by Boko Haram Could Signify Growing Strength

(International Christian Concern)  Over the past few weeks, while the world is consumed by the coronavirus pandemic, Boko Haram has been causing mass chaos and devastation in the Lake Chad region of West Africa.

There have been a number of major attacks by the group in the last month that have involved the Nigerian military, Niger military and Chadian military. These attacks have killed hundreds of soldiers, and reprisals by the military have reportedly killed hundreds of Boko Haram militants.

The largest and most worrisome of these attacks took place on March 23, when Boko Haram militants ambushed a large Chadian military outpost and killed more than 100 soldiers.
