NBA Timberwolves All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns Mother in Coma Due to COVID-19; Praying for Everyone

March 27, 2020 by Staff

Karl-Anthony Towns, a member of the NBA Minnesota Timberwolves, went to social media and pleaded for people to take this virus seriously after his mother was put in a medically induced coma due to the coronavirus.

Towns said his mother said things he didn’t want to hear (before being put into the medically induced coma), referring to her not thinking she was going to get well.

The NBA All-Star said he wasn’t going to give up, that he was praying, that his mother was one of the strongest women he knows, and that she would beat this and they will rejoice when she does.
