United Airlines Removed From Dirty Dozen List; Trains Crews to Combat In-Flight Porn Use

United Airlines landed on the 2019 Dirty Dozen List released by the non-profit group The National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE). According to the NCOSE The Dirty Dozen is a list ” which names 12 mainstream contributors to sexual exploitation, for systemic outbreaks of inappropriate aircrew reactions to sexual harassment on their airplanes.”

Viewing pornography, lewd speech, and unwanted sexual advances are all in included in the term sexual harassment in NCOSE definition.

The report noted that in-flight sexual assaults have risen due to the lack of training.

In February of 2020, United Airlines was removed from the list for taking action against the complaints that flooded their Customer Service lines.
